Dawn Underground Engineering, Inc., (DUE) is a consulting firm with over 17 years of experience in design, construction and rehabilitation of tunnel and underground structures. Our firm offers in-house multi-disciplined engineering that are required for complex underground projects, including civil, geotechnical, and structural engineering disciplines.

We have expertise in underground engineering, including temporary works design, final tunnel linings design, cut and cover design, trenchless design and tunnel rehabilitation design. Our team offers a broad experience in microtunneling & jacking, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), and tunneling (hand mining and TBM) in different types of rock and soils. Our temporary works design services include a wide range of watertight and non-watertight systems including slurry walls, secant pile walls, soil mix walls, sheet pile walls, cofferdams, soldier pile and lagging walls, steel liner plate shafts, rock dowels and bolts.

In addition, our staff offers expertise in immersed tube tunnels, New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM), flood protection and highway tunnel inspections according to NTIS standards.
